WHAT'S WITH ALL THE DIGGING?

At school, there is a lot of digging going on everywhere.
Ryan wanted to take a photo of a big hole that has been dug outside Mr Smith's office. He knows that the hole is for the wires that will give us ultra fast broadband for the school.
The workers have been cutting up concrete and digging deep holes to lay all of wires in the ground.
Ryan also took a photo of the machine that is used to cut the concrete.

We think Ryan is a pretty good photographer!

Ole Soccer

On Tuesday we learnt some really good soccer skills from the coaches at Ole Soccer.
We learnt how to toe-tap the ball.

The next skill we learnt was how to trap the soccer ball with our foot.
This was a bit tricky but we had fun practising it.

We can't wait till next Tuesday to have more soccer fun!

Cross Country

We had a great day at the cross country on Thursday.
Lots of parents and friends came along to cheer us on.
We sat in the middle of the field to wait for our turn to run.

Mr J started all of our races. He yelled out, "ready, set... " and then he banged two blocks together.
The Year One boys and girls ran first. They had to run around the field once.
Then the Year Twos had their turn and they had to run around the field twice.
We all had lots of fun running around the field and trying our best!
